COLONIAL ART

The result of the Spanish colony and the inheritance of the rich History from the Pre-columbian civilizations had left many artist that used both tecniques : European and Native American.  leaving us a big  legacy in arts, arquitecture.

I would like to show you in my galery, the beautiful religious paintings from the churches, and museums, that display the influence from the European art, Spanish, Rusian icones, and the colors used and made by the indians from South America.

I  have golden frames carved in wood, with the eleborated designs from colonial times and churches. that remark the deteailed artwork from the paintings of the angels, and the madonas.
