PRE-COLOMBIAN ART

I became very interested in the Ancient cultures of South America while I was working as a tour guide in Bolivia in 1975.  At that time, I had the opportunity to travel to the most interesting archaeological sites of Bolivia and Peru.

I am amazed to learn more and more every day about the tremendous legacy we have inherited from the ancient cultures such as:  Art, Architecture, Medicine, Archaeology, and Engineering.

I work daily with my various art projects and am inspired by the overwhelming legacy which the ancient cultures left for us; for example, literature, sciences, art, medicine,  etc..

My art reflects the culture which I inherited from my ancestors, and it is reflected in my paintings, colors, and poetry.

In 2007, I participated in ARTOMATIC, the biggest event in the art world in the Washington, DC area.  At this event, I was able to display examples of my jewelry designs, paintings and poetry.
